The Cohort Model

When you pursue your associate degree at the Dougherty Family College, you'll take all courses with your cohort—a group of about 25 students—who will become your support system and your community throughout the two-year program. Each cohort is assigned a faculty mentor who will stay with you during your time at DFC and create a community outside of class.
