Visiting the Dougherty Family College

A campus visit is an exciting part of choosing the right college. There’s nothing like seeing the Dougherty Family College in person to get a good picture of what your life will be like as a student.

An information session consists of a brief St. Paul campus tour featuring the student center and athletic complex followed by a 30-minute presentation. After a short St. Thomas shuttle ride to the Minneapolis campus, you’ll tour the Dougherty Family College. The total visit will take around two hours, and dinner will be provided.

Check out our list of upcoming information sessions. You may register up to one month prior for the information session of your choice.

Group visits for up to 50 students are available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The students must be currently in grades 9-12. These visits include a 30-minute information session given by an admissions counselor and a campus tour. Please bring one adult chaperone for every 15 students. It is the responsibility of each chaperone to monitor the behavior of their students.

If you’d like to get detailed questions about our two-year degree program answered in a one-on-one setting, consider scheduling a personalized visit. During your visit, you’ll have the option to meet with an admissions counselor and/or a financial aid counselor.

Dean Abraham will host monthly visits for donors and community members. The sessions will include a presentation about Dougherty Family College, perspectives shared from students and staff, a tour of the college and time for questions and answers.
