How to Apply
Applying to DFC
We make applying to the Dougherty Family College (DFC) easy for you. Just submit the online application, send us your official high school transcript and we'll have everything we need.
Beginning on October 1st of your senior year, applications will be reviewed and decisions made on a rolling basis—meaning as soon as we get your application we will review it, there is no waiting around, we will contact you within a few weeks. Then, we'll head into our next step, inviting qualified applicants to schedule an interview. This process is so we can get to know more about you and your future goals!
Our application for fall 2023 is open.
Everything You’ll Need to Know About Applying to DFC
Ask your high school to send an official copy of your academic transcript directly to the University of St. Thomas. It is preferred that transcripts are sent electronically. Your counselor may also email a transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail transcripts to:
Office of Admissions – Dougherty Family College
University of St. Thomas

Before you attend Dougherty Family College, you’ll need to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Minnesota Dream Act Application.
