DFC Target Intern DeAmonte Block with US Bank Mentor

Class of 2021

Khadra Sharif

“My internship at Target Headquarters has helped me develop knowledge about every department...My mentor also helped me with my agenda and journey through the day, so I understood how to navigate the workplace and what to expect from my meetings. I have a lot of knowledge!”

Class of 2019

DeAmonte Block

“My internship at U.S. Bank taught me professionalism. I learned how to carry myself. I was encouraged to be myself, including how I chose to dress. I could look and act professional and still be me.... I always ask myself, ‘What do I want people to see?’ I can be myself. When you accept yourself, you have the confidence to take on new things”

DeAmonte started his DFC internship with US Bank in 2018. He now works as a full-time staff auditor at US Bank, after he completed his bachelor's degree in business.
