Counseling and Support

All Dougherty Family College students have access to resources that can help them succeed in college.

  • Our faculty members are dedicated to mentoring you as well as teaching you. You will meet with your faculty mentor for 30 minutes every other week of the academic year to ask questions about coursework and receive one-on-one academic support.
  • If you need a tutor, students from St. Thomas’ bachelor’s degree program are available to help with any subject in the curriculum.
  • And as you near graduation, transfer counselors will assist you in transferring to a four-year degree program.
  • In addition, St. Thomas provides access to social workers, who can give you information, support and resources, and to university services such as health services, disability resources, and counseling and psychological services.
